Program Overview

For students who are looking for a broader experience of life in America, BEST offers the Academic Year Program, based on 10 months academic year. Students live with a Host Family and attend American private schools. Participating in a long-term academic program means total immersion in American life, and as such, it is an ideal way to achieve proficiency in the English language as well as gain a complete cross-cultural experience involving American home life and school.

We hand-select the finest schools with a variety of course offerings at price ranges to meet any need, interest, and budget. Our selection of schools located in Northeast of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You can be assured that you will receive a quality education that will have a positive and lasting effect on you for the rest of your life.

Host Families

Students stay in communities across the United States with Host Families who are carefully chosen and screened by BEST representatives. These families are agree to welcome the students into their lives as a member of their family. They provide room and board as well as the care and support necessary for students as they learn and adjust to life in the U.S. Students have the opportunity to take part in family activities and are encouraged to make the most of the opportunity to learn about everyday life in America from their Host Family.

Unlike unprofessional, unsafe and hold no accreditation companies, BEST only hires highly educated and experienced local coordinators and we work together with students, schools, and host families to deliver a culturally-immersive education around the globe. What can we do for you?

• Carefully screen host families. We do not “dorm” students in homes.
• Assist in finding the right school for each student individually.
• Application assistance, arrival/departure support.
• 24/7 Community Coordinator availability.
• Provide monthly reports from host parents and school to natural parents so they know exactly how their child is.
• Organize excursions in many areas that students may participate in.
• Provide Students and/or host families luncheon regularly to assist their wants and needs.
• Assist in tutoring and college prep courses as request
• Coordinate for the college or city tours

 

 

 

How to process?

 

SLEP Test/ Interview

Students must take SLEP Test and should be able to communicate with Native American with basic conversation.
